Dr. Amy Kasper is a proud Ohio native. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and went to The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Optometry. She graduated from Optometry school in 2012 and has been practicing in North Carolina since.

She sees patients of all ages for comprehensive ocular health exams and has a passion for custom/specialty contact lenses and myopia management. She loves private practice because of the relationships she builds with each patient and their families.

On her days off you'll find Dr. K spending time with her husband and their eight year old daughter, Lucy, and 2 year old son, Levi.

A NC native from Greenville, Dr. White studied English and Biology at Wake Forest University before pursuing his Masters in Public Health at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Following this, Dr. White attended the New England College of Optometry for his doctorate. During his externships, Dr. White worked in many multidisciplinary and culturally diverse settings from Boston to Atlanta, including international practice of eye care in hospitals in China. He believes compassion, communication, patient education, and continuance of care are vital to good patient outcomes.

While most of Dr. White’s clinical interests are concentrated on dry eye and ocular disease, Dr. White is especially interested in the management of the human as a whole. He feels that while the eyes in a poetic sense are “a window to the soul”, they are also physically “a window to the body”, and tell us much about our overall health.

In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and exercise, is writing a fantasy novel series (Nerd!), studies Chinese, and is an avid gamer. He lives with his wife Vivi, who is also an optometrist, in Hillsborough and is always entirely too excited to share the “Hallmark story” of how they met.

Dr. Kiyoshi Harada, OD was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. He graduated from Boston University with a BA in Biology, specializing in Neurobiology. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Harada was an optometric assistant at two private practices in the Bay Area. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Dr. Harada trained at the Palo Alto VA in Palo Alto, CA, Castle Family Health Center in Atwater, CA, University Eye Center in Anaheim, CA, and Schermer Eye Associates in Sacramento, CA. His clinical interests include dry eye, specialty contact lenses, and myopia control.

Dr. Harada is a member of the American Optometric Association and the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.

He and his wife reside in Durham with their two cats. They enjoy playing video games and are always looking for the newest restaurants to try.
